๐Ÿง Body

Whole-body topics - shape, posture, skincare, confidence.

A woman in her thirties standing at a bedroom mirror in a plain rose bra, holding a soft tape measure level around her ribcage just under the bust, with a small notebook and pen open on the chest of drawers beside her showing four measurements written down.

The Four Calculators, Honestly: What Each One Measures and Where It Stops

What the body shape, bra size, face shape and hair type calculators are actually computing, how to take the measurements so the arithmetic has something real to work with, and the precise point at which each one stops being able to tell you anything. Including the parts the results page does not say out loud.

Sepia botanical line illustration on cream paper: a slender vertical lavender sprig standing alone above a smooth empty oval vignette, framing ferns cleared back to the border, site name set in the ornamental border at the foot.

Your First Brazilian: What Actually Happens in That Room

What a Brazilian removes and what it leaves, why half the industry uses the word to mean something else, which methods suit the shape and which do not, where it genuinely hurts, the fortnight of regrowth nobody books time off for, and what it does under a thong that a bikini line does not.

Sepia botanical line illustration on cream paper: an oval vignette crossed by a single sweeping curved line like the leg opening of a swimsuit, with fine sprigs and grasses growing only outside the curve and clear cream paper inside it, site name in the ornamental border at the foot.

The Bikini Line Is Whatever Your Swimsuit Says It Is

It is the only intimate hair style named after a garment, which is why two salons give you two different results from the same word. What standard, high and French actually mean on a menu, why this is the one style a razor genuinely suits, why a hard edge makes regrowth more obvious than a soft one, and why this small strip produces most of the ingrown hairs anybody ever gets.

Sepia botanical line illustration on cream paper: a completely empty oval vignette of clean cream paper with the botanical border pressed out to the very edge, one fallen petal resting at the base, site name in the ornamental border at the foot.

Everything Off: The Hollywood, and the Part You Have to Do Yourself

The thing nobody mentions about a full Hollywood is that you have to help: hold your own skin, move onto your side, pull your knee up. What it removes that a Brazilian does not, why hard wax is not optional on thin skin, why you shave and never wax between laser sessions, where it genuinely hurts, and what bare skin does inside a lace gusset on a hot day.

Sepia botanical line illustration on cream paper: a single slim wheat stalk standing perfectly upright at the centre of an otherwise bare oval vignette, a faint ruled measuring line beside it, site name in the ornamental border at the foot.

The Landing Strip Never Looks Like the Photo

The strip in the reference picture is a perfect rectangle. Yours is decided by where your hair actually grows, which is not a rectangle. What to ask for, why the shape needs a defined edge and therefore a defined method, why the strip itself needs trimming and not just waxing, and the two weeks in five when it genuinely reads as a shape.

Sepia botanical line illustration on cream paper: a neatly clipped rosemary topiary sprig at the centre of an oval vignette, a few cut clippings fallen below it and a small pair of scissors set into the ornamental border, site name at the foot.

Scissors and Nothing Else: The Option Nobody Writes About

Shorter, not gone. No appointment, no regrowth phase, no itch, essentially no ingrown hairs, and a one-off cost of about the price of two salon visits. What the guard lengths actually look like, why you cut it dry, and the specific thing trimming fixes under clothes that removal is not needed for.

Sepia botanical line illustration on cream paper: a soft rounded cloud of fine fern fronds and grasses filling an oval vignette, generous and unclipped, site name set in the ornamental border at the foot.

Leaving It Alone: What Growing It Back Actually Involves

Doing nothing is a decision now, which it was not two generations ago. What the grow-out actually feels like coming off waxing or off a razor, why it stops at a certain length and does not keep going, the hygiene claim and why it runs backwards, and the handful of underwear and swimwear cuts that genuinely need thinking about.

Botanical line drawing in sepia ink on cream paper: an anatomical illustration of a vulva, drawn in the style of a nineteenth-century plant study, framed by flowers, leaves and small celestial motifs including stars and a crescent moon. The name lingerieforum.org is set into the decorative border.

Are My Labia Normal? The Honest Answer

The question almost nobody asks out loud and almost everybody types into a search box at one in the morning. What the actual range of normal looks like, why this worry became so common so recently, what genuinely warrants a doctor rather than a mirror, and a straight account of labiaplasty with nobody campaigning at you.
