Between posing and adjusting

My favorite photo in this set might be the one where I’m actually fixing the bodysuit.

Most of these started in front of the tall mirror, with the black corset-style lingerie framed by soft pink curtains and the bed behind me. I tried the obvious poses first, then changed my arms, shifted my weight, sat differently, and watched how much the sheer panels and garter straps changed depending on the angle.

But the more polished the pose became, the more I liked the little in-between moments instead. Hair going up, looking down, checking the fit, one strap refusing to stay exactly where I put it. Black lingerie can look very structured in a photograph, especially with satin, mesh and hardware, but wearing it is much less static.

The rest of this set has both versions: the poses I planned, and the frames that happened while I was getting there.
