Agent Provocateur Sale Haul - Was It Worth It?
Agent Provocateur had their end-of-season sale and I managed to snag two sets at roughly 50% off. Here is what I got.
Lorna Set (Plunge Bra + Brief) - $175 (was $350)
Ivory silk satin with black Chantilly lace overlay. The construction is impeccable -- every seam is clean, the lace is hand-finished at the edges, and the silk lining feels incredible against the skin. The plunge shape gives great cleavage without excessive padding. The brief is full coverage with a cheeky cut at the back.
Rozlyn Set (Balconette + Thong) - $160 (was $320)
Black mesh with velvet trim and gold hardware. This is more of a "costume" piece than an everyday wear. The balconette gives dramatic lift and the velvet trim is a beautiful detail. The thong is minimal but the gold hardware at the hips makes it feel special.
Overall Thoughts
At full price, I think AP is overpriced for what you get. Brands like Fleur du Mal offer comparable quality for less. But at 50% off, the quality-to-price ratio becomes genuinely competitive.
My tip: never buy AP at full price. Their sales are frequent and deep. Sign up for emails and wait.
